Enough already!

As my granddaughter said this morning when she looked out the window “enough already with this snow”. I know I swore not to go on about this but let these Canadian April photos and that anguished cry speak for themselves!

Maybe these were April’s last winter photos.

I think we’re safe but I wouldn’t put money on it! Happy Easter anyway 🙂

  3. Surprisingly the pansies are struggling back and the daffs have regained their former glory entirely! A lesson on the resilience of delicate seeming nature.

I couldn’t believe the general weather forecast for North America and Canada when I heard it on the BBC. The pansies I plant seem to cope very well with snow. But that is New Zealand snow, not Canadian snow!

Oh no! Snow on the daffodils and the bird feeder!! Enought already!!! I agree……plus I will be in Canada soon! I wasn’t planning to pack my down! 😡

  6. Lots of snow here this morning in beautiful but cold Port Elgin Ontario. Living this far North we know not to put out frost pansies or any other flower until after May 24th. You may have rushed them but the baby shower and warm +15 degree temps were the culprit not you.

Wishing you sun and warmth soonest! 😉

Our daffodils looked like that a couple of months ago down here in the Cascade foothills of Oregon. So far winter has not thrown a freak snow storm at us this April. Cherrries, plums, pear, and now a few apple trees are blooming at this time.

Oh my those pansies do look pathetic. Yes more snow in the forecast here as well. In Calgary its rare to see flowers sitting out before the May long weekend.

It’s hard not to be frustrated, our cherry tree just started popping and tonight we will be getting that arctic blast again…sigh. At least we had a couple of beautiful days to remember.

There was some major sighing going on in this household this morning too 😦
