I like to think I’m a keen observer of people and places both at home and abroad. Ordinary life interests me and when I travel I’m intrigued by how people make a living, where they work and how they find pleasure – the things that connect us all. The potemkin villages established for tourists are not for me although I don’t judge those who find comfort there. I care about the difference between charity and solidarity in all things in life and hopefully my simple approach doesn’t end up being too boring…we’ll see.

Thanks for checking out my blog Haiku hound and deciding to follow it. I find your blog is fascinating with great photography. Currently a young friend of mine is taking a year off between High school and university to work and travel her way around Europe. Currently she is in London.
Thanks for the follow!
Thank-you so much for the follow. I have enjoyed reading a few of your posts this evening and will be back for more.
Best wishes,
Clare ๐

Love your blog!
Thank you for the nomination – I really appreciate it but it’s not something I do. Hope it doesn’t mess up your momentum but I have to pass.
Congratulations on finishing Blogging 101! Looking forward to reading your posts!
Congratulations to you too!
Thought provoking ๐ I look forward for more
Thank you – nice to meet you.
You have wonderful blog!
How kind – thank you.
What a lovely blog to stumble upon. I will enjoy following.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for the likes and follow on my blog, really appreciated. Welcome aboard and feel free to comment or make suggestions. I see you have got a six month extension to your blog contract for the local tourist board – I would love to get something like that. Trouble is here the emphasis tends to be on the big stuff. Will keep trying mind. Best wishes for fun wherever you go, MM ๐
It’s not big money but it’s good to have the exposure and it makes me look at the interesting aspects of my own neighbourhood more closely. It’s an on-line regional site and perhaps you can suggest something similar to your local government or business association. I hope you can get something too. I look forward to following your blog.
I will be trying for sure. Have lots to do….enjoy your holiday..MM ๐

I had to look up potemkin but I absolutely agree!
Me too, Carol. ๐
Thanks for liking my blog post on Muse-ings. I am enjoying reading your blog and am looking forward to more “unprofound” thoughts. ๐
I love your photos … they put my modest attempts with my little point-and-shoot to shame.
… and I also think there is nothing “ordinary” about ordinary life ๐
Thank you so much for following my blog! Ordinary people and everyday life also fascinate me. Warm greetings from Jamaica!
